Sunset Paradise Cruise App
This UX case study examines a common issue for cruise travelers: losing personal devices. When a family member lost their phone on a cruise, I saw an opportunity to create a solution that enhances security, peace of mind, and the overall experience by focusing on people’s real needs.

Problem:
People losing their phones on the cruise
Context:
People want to be able to find their phone if they lose it on the cruise
Solutions:
Have a feature that will be able to find lost phones
Context:
People will not have to worry about not being to find their phone if they lose it on a cruise.
Over 20% of cruise passengers lose something onboard. Over 6 million passengers lose items if people lose their phones, it would be 5-10% which results in 300,000 to 600,000 phones lost per year on the cruise ships.
